Scholarships

Act 188 of the 77th General Assembly requires that all students receiving any type of grants, scholarships, or loans from the university sign a certification of registration for selective service. Effective beginning with scholarships awarded for the fall 1990 semester, a certification of registration for each student must accompany the Notice of Scholarship before the Office of Financial Aid will process the award.

All scholarship applications received in the Office of Financial Aid will be forwarded to each college for the selection process. As a student is selected for a scholarship, it will be necessary to attach the University Scholarship Application to the Notice of Scholarship form and send it to the Office of Financial Aid. When the college has finished the selection process, it will be necessary to return all other scholarship applications to the Office of Financial Aid.

It will be the colleges' responsibility to ensure that a scholarship application accompanies each scholarship award. Notices of Scholarship without a University Scholarship Application will delay the student's receipt of the scholarship.
