About the Executive Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration

Ann Bordelon serves as the Executive Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration
at the University of Arkansas. She was originally appointed to lead the division on
July 1, 2020.
Bordelon is a seasoned finance executive with experience ranging from the world's
largest company to regional entrepreneurial ventures.
A native of Arkansas, Bordelon has spent the majority of her career with Walmart and
Ernst & Young. During her nearly 13-year tenure at Walmart, Bordelon served in various
executive finance roles including chief financial officer of Sam's Club, chief financial
officer of Walmart Asia, and global chief audit executive.
Following her retirement from Walmart, Bordelon worked with a start-up company in
the medical diagnostic space and then as the chief financial officer of Mitchell Communications.
Professionally, Bordelon is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the National Association of Corporate Directors. Bordelon earned a
B.S.B.A. in accounting and information systems from the University of Arkansas and
is a certified public accountant.
